Biography


     Mr. Stevens is also one of our Tae Kwon Do instructors, brought up under the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.  He is also a black belt in ATA, American Tae Kwon Do Association, style Tae Kwon Do and has been training for over 30 years.
     Mr. Stevens started training at the age of 15 in Dover, DE.  Under Mr. Abrams at the Delaware State College Tae Kwon Do Academy.  He trained there for about three years under the WTF instructor reaching the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt.
     Mr. Stevens moved to Folkston, GA and trained with Master Ray Melton in WTF Tae Kwon Do for about three years and reached the rank of 2nd degree and still continues to train under him.
     After that he then moved to Saint Mary's, Georgia and studied in ATA style Tae Kwon Do under Mr. Thomas L. Miller.  He studied with Mr. Miller for more than 5 years and reached the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in ATA Tae Kwon Do.
     He moved again and began studying under Robert Moses in WTF Tae Kwon Do for 3 more years and reached the rank of 4th Degree. 
     In 2004 Mr. Stevens was promoted to the rank of 6th Degree in WTF Tae Kwon Do under Master Ray Melton Jr.
  He is also co-owner of Mushin Dojo and co-founder of The Greater New Haven Youth Foundation, founded in 2004.  He also is the founder of FFJMAA, Fighting for Jesus Martial Arts Academy, a Christian Tae Kwon Do program at Church on the Rock in New Haven, CT.  He is also Rod Jones' instructor in WTF Tae Kwon Do, and who also promoted Mr. Rod (also of Mushin Dojo) to the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in WTF Tae Kwon Do.
